COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by S.S.Sundar , J.) The learned Additional Advocate General was earlier directed to report as to the decision taken on the application submitted by the petitioner seeking renewal of Environmental Clearance. 2.Today, the learned Additional Advocate General reports that the application will be processed only if the petitioner appears and participates in the enquiry.

3.When the submission of application is admitted, the respondents ought to have issued notice calling upon the petitioner to appear if they want any clarification.

4.In view of the stand taken by the learned Additional Advocate General, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent on 03.04.2024. On that date, the petitioner shall be heard and the respondents shall consider the application, in the light of Official Memorandum dated 13.12.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks thereafter.

5.With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
