This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu.W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.This case in Cr.No.1143 of 2015 dated 10.11.2015 was registered for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. It is reported that the defacto Complainant is presently not traceable and the accused is attending the proceedings regularly. The case is pending from the year 2015.

3.Considering the nature of allegation, the antecedents of the accused, it is evident that even if the accused is continuing to face trial, it would impinge upon his right to a speedy trial. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.487 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Avinashi, Avinashi Taluk, Tiruppur shall stand quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stand disposed of. 26.09.2025 shl electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
