This writ petition has been filed for direction to the first respondent to process the petitioners' applications for patta dated 23.04.2025 and to grant patta for the petitioners' plots situated in the layout called 'Vinayagapuram', Nerkundram, Chennai-107, comprised in Plot No.9, Plot No.12, Plot No.38, and Plot No.39, Survey No.284/1A, of Nerkundram Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District, without insisting no-objection from the second respondent, within a time-frame as may be fixed by this Court.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent. 2/4

Considering the request of the petitioners, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the applications of the petitioners dated 23.04.2025 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioners and giving them opportunity of personal hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
