Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to make measurement and to fix the boundaries in respect of the land in the S.No.210/1B1 total extent of 2 hectors in Minnampalli Village, Namakkal District pursuant to the petitioner representation dated 06.09.2024. The above Writ Petition has been filed seeking mandamus to the respondents to survey the petitioner's property comprised in S.No.210/1B1, measuring an extent of 2 hectors in Minnampalli Village, Namakkal District pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2024

2. The petitioner would submit that he has purchased the subject property in the year 2011, from one Perumal son of Venkatachala Udayar. The petitioner has been in enjoyment of the same since then. The petitioner decided to construct a compound wall on his property and submitted representation to the respondents requesting to measure and fix boundaries in respect of the subject. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date the representation has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/6

3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to conduct a survey and fix boundaries of the subject property. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show his title to the property and the respondents shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed.

5. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
