The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 2nd respondent to consider her representation dated 08.06.2024 seeking correction of the entry in the Death Certificate of her husband namely Mr.Jayachandran.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that in the death certificate of her husband, the name of wife was wrongly entered as "Jaya" instead of "Bakiyalakshmi", the petitioner herein. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 08.06.2024 seeking correction in the Death Certificate.

3. Mr.S.Gopinathan, learned Standing Counsel (GCC), who is taking notice for the respondents 1 and 2, on written instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioner was disposed of by the 2nd respondent by order dated 27.06.2024.

4. In view of the fact that the representation of the petitioner is already disposed of by the 2nd respondent, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. However, the 2nd respondent is directed to communicate the order to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
