O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Cr.No.1640 of 2020 pending on his file.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that accused persons had trespassed into her house with JCB and demolished the house and caused damage to all the articles. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case has been registered in the year 2020, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and the respondent police will be filing the final report within a period of four weeks.

5. In view of the submissions of the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to file the final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
