ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner for selection to the post of Assistant Surgeon (General) by allowing the petitioner to participate in the selection consequent to the Notification No.12/MRB/2016 dated 10.11.2016 issued by the respondent without reference to date of registration in Tamil Nadu Medical Council and consequently, select and appoint the petitioner to the post of Assistant Surgeon (General) based on merit in selection.

2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent submitted that the petitioner was allowed to participate in the selection process, she also participated, but, she has not been selected. In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.

4. There shall be no order as to costs.
