ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to survey and demarcate the land measuring 0.5 Ares(12 cents) comprised in Survey No.16/4A of Voyalanallur Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District as per patta bearing No.4, by disposing the petitioners' representation dated 02.08.2022.

In respect of property in S.No.16/4A situated at Voyalanallur Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District, the petitioners in order to survey the land and identify the four boundaries and to issue patta in respect of such survey filed a representation dated 02.08.2022, since the same has not been considered, they have approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.Manoharan Sundaram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that, if at all the petitioners' land is to be surveyed, the necessary application to that effect has to be made through on-line and necessary fee has also to be paid in this regard through on-line and if it is made, it would be considered on merits and the needful would be done within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Having regard to the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, especially the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That it is for the petitioners to make an on-line application along with necessary fee to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the said application shall be considered and the needful may be undertaken by the respondent within a period of six(6)weeks after issuing notice to the petitioner and other 3/5

neighbors and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law.
