ORDER

Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to cancel the patta which stands in the name of Sam Asper and to issue fresh patta in the name of M.Parthasarathy by considering petitioner representation dated 15.07.2025.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the subject property belongs to one Mr.Parthasarathy who is the grandfather of the petitioner. When he intended to sell some of the properties due to financial crisis, he came to understand that the patta with respect to 2/4

R.S.No.473/13 reflects in the name of "Sam Asper" who is no way connected with the Petitioner's land. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent to cancel the patta which stands in the name of Sam Asper and to issue fresh patta in the name of Mr.M.Parthasarathy. As the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents concerned will pass orders on the representation of the petitioner within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the 3/4

KRISHNAN RAMASAMY.J., arr petitioner as well as to any of the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
