O R D E R

(through Video Conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the 2nd Respondent Police to give police protection to erect the corner stones and fence in the property situated at Kumarakuppam Village, within the jurisdiction of Valavanur Sub Registrar Office, Villupuram District comprised in S.F.No.78/6 admeasuring 0.16. cents.

2.Heard Mr.C.Pugazhenthi, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.T.Dhanyakumar, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 7. 3.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the prayer or dispute of the Petitioner, no representation has been received by the first and second respondents as alleged by the Petitioner. He would further submit that if any representation is received from the Petitioner, the second respondent is ready to consider the same. 4.Hence, in view of the above, in the absence of any representation, this Court cannot direct the second respondent police to give necessary police protection. Hence, it is appropriate to direct the Petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent.

5.Accordingly, the Petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and if such representation is received, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and take necessary action in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the respondents 3 to 7. 6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
