The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the Respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 24.11.2018 by removing the Karuvelam trees situated in the water channel adjacent to the Survey Numbers 96, 97, 76 and 73 of Oru Kodi Village, Villupuram Taluk & District within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

notice for the Respondents, on instructions, states that the action has been taken for removing Karuvelam tress by conducting auction and that the contract has been awarded in favour of Mr. Panner Selvam, S/o. Sitaraman, Villupuram to remove the Karuvelam tress in Kondangi Lake and the channel at the earliest, and a memo has been filed to that effect. 3.

Recording the aforesaid submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
