ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2022 seeking to survey the Grama Natham property of the 1/4

petitioner situated at No.121, Pallipattu Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Chengalpattu District comprised in Old Survey No.133/21, New Survey No.133/30 admeasuring to an extent of 4 1⁄2 cents.

2. The petitioner has been given patta for the Grama Natham Survey No.133/30 at Pallipattu Village, Madurantakam Taluk, Chengalpattu District to an extent of 180 sq.mtr. which is housing plot/grama natham in Patta No.129.

3. Therefore in order to survey the land and to identify the four boundaries for the purpose of using it and making a dwelling house by the petitioner, he has made an application dated 16.11.2022 through online to the respondent, however the same since has not been acted upon so far, he has moved the present writ petition with the aforestated prayer.

4. Heard Mr.G.Mageshkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent would submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein and having regard to the stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: That there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.11.2022 and survey the land in question after giving notice to the petitioner and neighbours within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
