ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the "Applications for Survey"dated 18.02.2021 and 27.07.2022 submitted by the petitioner requesting the 2nd respondent to survey the lands in Survey Nos.133/7C2, 133/7C4 and 133/7C6 of Nedungunam Village, Chetpet Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District as per the Patta Numbers 277 & 853 issued in favour of the petitioner and point out the field boundary lines.

In order to survey the land at Survey Nos.133/7C2, 133/7C4 and 133/7C6 of Nedungunam Village, Chetpet Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, the petitioner had given application on 18.02.2021 and 27.07.2022 and thereafter sent the reminder application on 07.09.2022 along with the necessary fee through online on 02.12.2022, so far the respondents since have not acted upon to survey the land of the petitioner, he has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.G.Sai Narayana Vasan, learned counsel appearing for 2/5

the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner for surveying the land along with the fee paid to the petitioner subsequently would be considered and the needful would be undertaken by the respondents within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and having regard to the innocuous nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: That there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 18.02.2021 and 27.07.2022 and the reminder application dated 07.09.2022 and do the needful for surveying the land belongs to the petitioner after giving notice to the petitioner as well as the other neighbours within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
