ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 77 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act and 20(B)IIA, 8(c) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.15 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.There is no representation for the petitioner. 3.The case of the prosecution is that on 19.01.2024 around 08.45 a.m., by receiving credible information that some persons are selling ganja to youngsters and School going students near Light House, the respondent police reached the occurrence place and arrested the accused persons and seized 120 Grams of ganja. Based on the concession, the petitioner was implicated in this case. Hence this complaint.

mps 4.The learned Public Prosecutor submitted that there are 9 previous cases pending as against the petitioner and the petitioner is the supplier of ganja and he is a history sheeted rowdy. He vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the fact that there are 9 previous cases pending as against the petitioner and there is no change of circumstances and also considering the gravity of the offences, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail tot the petitioner.
