ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed this writ petition to refer the objection dated 12.10.2021 and 04.03.2023 to the competent Civil Court for enhanced compensation under Section 20 of the

Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001. However, the same was not referred by the respondent, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

2. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's objections dated 12.10.2021 and 04.03.2023 will be referred to the competent Civil Court by the respondent within a period of 4 weeks.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to refer the objection of the petitioner dated 12.10.2021 and 04.03.2023 to the competent Civil Court for enhanced compensation under Section 20 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
