The petitioner seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to remove the lien in the petitioner's NRE Account - 00400 1040492 and NRO Account - 004001079474 - ICICI Bank, LIC Colony, 100 Feet Road, Velachery Chennai based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2025 forthwith.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents and perused the documents placed on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he has received a sum of Rs.18 Lakhs from M/s Sajith Enterprises, Gujarat / Ex-staff. When the matter stood thus, on the basis of the complaint, a lien was created to the tune of 2/4

Rs.12.85 Lakhs and hence seeks to remove the same.

4. The learned counsel for the Bank would submit that as per the request made by the 3rd respondent / Police, Bangalore, the bank has now removed the lien for a sum of Rs.12.85 Lakh in the petitioner's account.
