Prayer in W.P.No. 24355 of 2017: Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in respect of the proceedings of the 4th respondent in the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.502/A/2017 dated 24.08.2017 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondent to entrust the task of selection of under 14 years fencing selection to any other District Physical Education.

2. When these matters are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the respondents would submit that the process of fencing selection has already been conducted for the year 2017 and also completed. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has virtually become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
