Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2. This is a petition filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the second respondent to consider their representation dated 13.03.2019 to record their name in the revenue records and issue patta to the Vanniyar Choultry, Veda Page No. 2 of 6
Vinayagar Temple and Gardens in and around Vanniayar Choultry in S.No.261, Ward H, Block No.21, T.S.Nos.38 to 66 measuring to an extent of 88 cents 35.5 ares situated at West Mada Street, Thiruvottiyur Village, Thiruvottiyur Taluk, Chennai District.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that they own a choultry called Vanniyar Choultry, Veda Vinayagar Temple and Gardens in and around Vanniyar Choultry. They sent the representation dated 13.03.2019 to the second respondent requesting for grant of patta to the petitioner in respect of the subject properties. It came to light that the representation given to the second respondent has been forwarded to the third respondent. Further, the third respondent directed the petitioner to attended for an inquiry on 23.10.2019 and the representative of the petitioner also appeared and furnished relevant documents. Even pursuant to the order of this Court dated 01.08.2014 in W.P.No.20527 of 2014 and G.O.Ms.No.99 dated 21.09.2015 and G.O.Ms.No.73 dated 11.06.2018, the petitioner believed that their representation would be considered. However, nothing was forthcoming. Hence the writ petition.

4. Considering the limited nature of the prayer sought for and without expressing any opinion on the merits of this case. The third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2019 by giving notice to both the parties, opportunity of personal hearing, on merits, in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders by observing the above principles of natural justice within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
