ORDER

Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel for Revision Petitioner, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and defacto complainant K.Ayeesh @ Ayisha Begum also appeared in person.

2. The defacto complainant is a B.A. (Admn.) Graduate and she knew the contents of the case. Pending proceedings, there was a compromise arrived 2/5

between the parties. To that effect, mediation was held between the parties before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Chennai and the settlement agreement was also executed. Accordingly, the defacto complainant had received a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- as lumpsum amount through demand draft as full and final settlement for herself and for her son. She had agreed to withdraw all the cases including D.V.C. proceedings as well as suit and M.C. Proceedings. In view of compromise, since she had received the amount and agreed to withdraw all the cases, the matter was settled. She has no further claim. To that effect, the Settlement Agreement is recorded. Thus, the petitioners 1 to 3 are acquitted from the proceedings in C.C.No. 1532 of 2021 on the file of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and entire proceedings is ordered to be withdrawn.

5. In the result, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as the matter was settled between the parties in terms of a settlement agreement. The settlement agreement shall form part and parcel of this order.
