ORDER

The petitioner herein is a supplier of banned tobacco product arrested on 03.08.2025, while he was transporting 9850 kgs of banned tobacco product in a two wheeler. He was intercepted and taken into custody. Based on his confession, the respondent police has come to know that the petitioner along with other absconding accused had a habit of transporting banned tobacco product from Bangalore and supply it to the retailers in Chennai.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Considering the gravity of offence and also the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
