C.M.P.No.21287 of 2022 C.M.P.No.21287 of 2022 in S.A.(SR).No.76323 of 2019 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J., The Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1229 days in representation.
2. In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it had been stated that the registry had returned the papers there was a deficit Court fee of Rs.2500/- which had to be paid. Thereafter, the papers were also mixed up with other bundles. The Covid-19 pandemic was also stated as a reason. The Junior counsel had also left. In view of all those reasons, there has been a delay in representing the appeal papers.
3. In view of the reasons stated, I would condone the delay of 1229 days in representation.
4. The Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed.
5. The Registry to proceed with numbering the S.A.(SR).No.76323 of 2019, if it is otherwise in order.
