ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction to respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.08.2025 seeking adequate police protection to fence the property comprised in survey no.247/AB to an extent of 12 cents situated at Mechur, Mettur Taluk, Salem District.
2.
It is seen that the petitioner claimed to be the owner of the property in S.No.247/9B to the extent of 22 cents situated at Mecheri, Mettur Circle, Salem District with the boundary of North bounded by street, East Bounded by weekly Market, West bounded by common Pathway to S.No.247/9B, South Bounded by Mecheri to Omalur Road. While being so, respondents 3 to 8 encroached some portion of the said property and also filed suit for declaration in OS.No.313 of 2019 on the file of the Sub Court, Mettur for declaration declaring that a sale deed
executed in favour of the petitioner as null and void and to declare the subject property as owned by respondents 3 to 8. Pending the suit, the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking police protection, that too for fencing the aforementioned property, cannot be considered. As such, this writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed.
3.
In view of the above discussion, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. 11.06.2026 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/non-speaking order lok
