(The Order of the Court was made by P.Velmurugan, J) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's mother's representation to grant ordinary leave for 28 days without escort to the detenu, Sureshbabu, S/o Selvaraj, aged about 38 years, bearing Convict No.3871, confined at Central Prison, Vellore.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the said representation was subsequently considered and final order was passed on 06.12.2025 and therefore, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. But however, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if so aggrieved by the final order passed by the Prison Authority.
