ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to forbear the Respondents 1 to 6 from in anyway interfering with the peaceful functioning and day to day affairs of the petitioner Club except in accordance with law by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2025 .
2. The case of the petitioner is that their club promotes recreational, cultural and social activities for its members as per its Bye-laws and in compliance with the Tamil Nadu Gaming Act, 1930 and the public Gambling Act 1967. Despite the same, the third respondent is unlawfully interfering with the Club's operations including unauthorized visits and threats, culminating in a forced shut down on 10.03.2025 without any written Orders or legal proceedings. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents on instructions submitted that though there were two First
Information Reports registered against the petitioner Club, the same have been closed on payment of fine. He would further submit that the respondents will not interfere with the activities of the club unless there are illegal activities carried on in the club.
4.
