The petitioner herein seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.546 of 2022 registered by the respondent Police for the offence under Section 394 IPC. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that, he has been falsely implicated as an accused in this case. Apprehending arrest from the respondent police, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) stated that on 07.12.2022, when the defacto complainant was walking towards his house, an unknown person intercepted him and demanded his purse and also shown his knife. Thereafter, attacked him with knife and robbed a sum of Rs.2,500/-. 4.In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the name of the petitioner is not shown in the FIR. But however charge sheet has been filed showing the petitioner as absconding accused.

Crl.O.P.No.25325 of 2023 5.In view of the facts and circumstances and the fact that petitioner is shown as absconding accused in the charge sheet, the petition for anticipatory bail would not arise and therefore, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The petitioner shall surrender him before the concerned Court. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
