O R D E R

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Mr.Stalin Abimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the proposal sent by the second respondent to the first respondent on 14.06.2022 seeking for regularization of temporary list of Inspector of Police(AR) fit for appointment by transfer as Deputy Superintendent of Police(AR) by inclusion of petitioner's name above his juniors has not been considered till date by the 1st respondent. In such circumstances, the petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders on the aforementioned proposal sent by the second respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Heard Mr.M.S.Soundararajan, learned counsel for the petitioner 2/4

and Mr.Stalin Abimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

5. No prejudice would be caused to respondents if the aforementioned proposal sent by the second respondent dated 14.06.2022 is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the second respondent's proposal dated 14.06.2022 referred to supra, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
