For Petitioner : Mrs.S.R.Maheswari For Respondents : Mr.K.Balaji for R2 R1 - Court O R D E R When the matter is taken up for hearing, the parties made a common submission that they have arrived at a compromise and the Management has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.4 lakhs in toto, including the amount lying before the Labour Court. The workman is permitted to withdraw the amount lying with the Labour Court together with accrued interest.
2. The parties have agreed to settle the matter for Rs.4 lakhs, the partial amount paid before the Labour Court, which would have carried interest, without taking note of the interest portion on the principal amount deposited, from deducting the principal amount already deposited, the balance has been issued by way of cheque.
3. In view of the settlement arrived at, learned counsel appearing for the workman would submit that he would withdraw
C.P.No.212 of 2016 and any other matter pursuant to his dismissal.
4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
