O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioner for the property situated at Plot No.59, measuring an extent of 170 sq.mt., (1830 sq.ft.) CMDA in the approved layout vide No.P.P.D./L.O.No.26/2010, comprised in Old Survey No.9 and New Survey No.156/Part, in sub division Survey No.156/2A, as per Patta No.3311, situated at VSNL (G.N.T) at Pandiyanallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

2. In respect of property at Old Survey No.9 and New Survey No.156/ Part, in sub division Survey No.156/2A, as per Patta No.3311, situated at VSNL (G.N.T) at Pandiyanallur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, the petitioner to get patta made an application on 01.11.2022 and in order to consider the same, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would 2/4

submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law by the 2nd respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application dated 01.11.2022 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
