The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 316 and 318 of BNS, in Crime No.Not Known of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.This petition is for anticipatory bail, stating that Crime No.Not Known of 2025.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the case had been registered in Crime No.121 of 2025 against one Nihmath Nisa, alleging that she had cheated several persons by offering land for lease and collecting money. In her confession statement, she has mentioned this petitioner as a person to whom a portion of the money was given.
4. In the said circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 01.09.2025 dna 2/4
