ORDER
The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the on-line application dated 13.09.2022 submitted by the petitioner for issuing patta in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.166/3 measuring 9 cents in Mugaiyur Village,Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and to pass orders thereon within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. In respect of the land at S.No.166/3 situated at Mugaiyur Village,Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, the petitioner seeking for patta has given on-line application on 13.09.2022 and the same since has not been considered, he has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
3. Mr.M.Elumalai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner making the aforesaid statement seeks indulgence of this Court.
4. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by 2/4
the petitioner through on-line dated 13.09.2022 would be considered and the needful would be undertaken within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order:
That there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 13.09.2022 on merits and in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
