O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner's Unit-III situated at SF, No.256, Trichy Road, Kannam Palayam, Sulur Post Office, Coimbatore - 641 402 and Unit-I situated at SF.No.313/4 and 5, Mettupalayam Road, Narasimma Naicken Palayam Post, Coimbatore-641 031 and ensure that the striking workmen are 300 meters away from the main gate of the above two factory premises and maintain law and order and peace in and around the above two factory premises.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection for the petitioner's Unit-III situated at SF, No.256, Trichy Road, Kannam Palayam, Sulur Post Office, Coimbatore - 641 402 and Unit-I situated at SF.No.313/4 and 5, Mettupalayam Road, Narasimma Naicken Palayam Post, Coimbatore-641 031 and ensure that the striking workmen are 300 meters away from the main gate of the above two factory premises and maintain law and order and peace in and around the above two factory premises, in a peaceful and profitable manner. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so adviced.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
