Ranjith Chandar V v. The Official Liquidator
Comp.A.No.609 of 2022 in C.P.No.385 of 2014 KRISHNAN RAMASAMY, J., The application has been filed to direct the Official Liquidator to accede to the request of the applicant dated 28.09.2022 and thereby execute necessary documentation to convert/port the mobile numbers mentioned therein to the respective individuals name.
2. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the employees obtained the phone numbers under the corporate/CUG connections with the Vodafone Idea Limited in the name of the Company. However, all the phone bills have been paid individually by the employees of the Company. The following mobile numbers are the persons who are using the numbers are as follows:

3. All the above Eight persons are the employees of the Company and only to certain benefits provided by the Vodafone Idea Limited all the employees have joined together and obtained CUG connection. Now the Company gone into liquidation, they want to change the CUG connection to the individual name. That is the reason why they made a request to the Official Liquidator on 16.04.2003, since the Company under liquidation, the Official Liquidator taken charge of the Company. According to the applicant, the Official Liquidator is proceeded to execute the relevant documents and on behalf of the Company under liquidation to convert CUG in the name of Company into the name of the individuals who are the users of the said phone numbers.

The Official Liquidator submitted that he is ready to verify and execute the relevant documents with regard to the conversion of CUG connections which are in the names of the Company to the individual names those who are using the mobile phone numbers. If the said eight persons have received any official communication, the same should be forwarded to Page No.2/4
him immediately.
6. Considering the submissions made by the learned Official Liquidator, this application is ordered as prayed for. This Court also directs the users of the above eight phone numbers to furnish details on receipt of any official communication immediately to the Official Liquidator with regard to the company.
