This petition has been filed to modify the order of the condition that "the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) to the credit of Crime No.140 of 2022 and on such deposit, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance within a period of four weeks from the date on which the order copy made ready" made in Crl.O.P.No.21589 of 2022 dated 14.10.2022. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is very poor and is not in a position to pay the said deposit amount as ordered by this Court. Hence, he seeks for modification of the above condition. 3.Considering the above submissions, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified and the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) to the credit of Crime No.140 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Page No.1/2
