ORDER

1.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct directing the 2nd respondent namely the Joint Director Kallar Reclamation Office Madurai -20 to consider and pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner through proper Channel on 10/10/2019. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocates appearing for the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was recruited through Teachers Recruitment Board for the post of B.T. Assistant and she was posted at Government Kallar High School, Pullakkapatti, Theni District on 05.12.2014. Her husband was employed in Central Defence Force and working at Avadi and her two children are studying +2 and 7th standard respectively at Government School, Avadi. The grievance of the petitioner is that she is working alone away from her family and her aged mother in law is also staying with her husband. Therefore, she made a representation on 10.10.2019 to the respondents requesting to transfer her from the present working place to any government High Schools at Thiruvallur District, since she has been working in the present place of Theni for the last five years. Since, no action is forthcoming from the respondents despite her representation, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that without going into merits of the case since the representation made by the petitioner has been pending without any progress it would suffice if this Court directs the respondents and to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner in accordance with law.

5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents while conceding the claim of the petitioner, would submit that if any such direction is given by this Court, the same would be complied with and the representation of the petitioner would be disposed of in accordance with law.

6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation dated 10.10.2019, made by the petitioner in accordance with law and on merits, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
