Petitions filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to furnish a copy of the look-out circular to the petitioner at the earliest point of time. For Petitioners : Mr.J.Pothiraj For R1 & R3 : Mr.P.Ayyaswamy Central Government Counsel COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to furnish a copy of the look-out circular to the petitioners at the earliest point of time.
2. Mr.P.Ayyaswamy, the learned Central Government Counsel appeared for the respondents 1 and 3 and none appeared for the second respondent.
3. However, it is for the second respondent to say whether the circular issued by the respondents 1 and 3 can be furnished to the petitioners or not?
4. However, when this Court put a question to the learned counsel for the petitioner that whether he has made any application to the second respondent to get a copy of the lookout circular issued against the petitioners, the learned counsel submitted that he has not made any application to get the copy of the look-out circular.
5. Therefore, this Court is of the considered view that it is for the petitioners to make an appropriate application to the second respondent to furnish the look-out circular. 6.In such an event, the second respondent shall consider the application of the petitioners and furnish a copy of the look-out circular to the petitioners, within a period of four weeks, from the date of filing of such application by the petitioners.
7. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
