ORDER
A representation has been given by the petitioner on 23.08.2024 seeking refund of security deposit for service connection Nos.01148008600 and 01148008599 in the name of late P.Lakshminarayana Bhatt at the premise namely, Hotel Raaj Bhaavan, No.76, Gangadeeswarar Koil Street, Puraswalkam, Chennai - 600 084.
2.It is contended on behalf of the respondent that the service connection was disconnected on 05.11.2024. The petitioner now seeks refund of the security deposit. It is further contended on behalf of the respondent that the petitioner should produce necessary document in this regard.
3.A direction is issued that the petitioner may approach the respondent, Assistant Engineer, Puraswalkam, Chennai and the respondent may inform the necessary documents to be produced. If the petitioner has those documents and he produces the same, necessary orders may be passed.
It is also ensured whether there are any other claimants for the security deposit and if there are, let notices be issued by the respondent to all of them and then, let a decision be taken about refund of the security deposit to the appropriate person. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner would go over to the office of the respondent, any time in the third week of November 2024.
