ORDER
This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.The case, Cr.No.782 of 2017 was registered for the alleged offences under Sections 294 (b), 506 (1) and 355 of the I.P.C. The occurrence is of the year 2017. It is stated that this is an offence arisen out of a matrimonial discord. The complainant is the husband and A1 is the wife and A2 is the father-in-law. The marriage between the A1 and complainant has been Page No.1 of 3
dissolved. P.W.1/complainant originally was examined on 18.04.2023 and thereafter P.W.1 was recalled and the matter is pending for appearance of P.W.1 and he is not appearing. The matter is pending from the year 2017. 3.For all the above reasons, any further continuation of the trial would impinge upon their right to a speedy trial of the accused and no useful purpose would be served.
4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.2600118 of 2018 of Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Coimbatore Taluk, Coimbatore, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
