2. The cases in STC Nos.750 of 2019, 3304 of 2024 and 3298 of 2024 of Judicial Magistrate Court No.V, Puducherry Taluk, Puducherry, are registered for alleged offences under Sections 279, 338 IPC and 3 r/w 181 of MV Act. The incidents occurred on 16.03.2018, 03.12.2016 and 13.01.2025, respectively. The de-facto complainants in all these cases are not traceable. It is not known whether claim petitions are filed or not. Even if they are filed, it will not in any manner affect these cases. A non-bailable warrant is pending as against the accused in these cases.

3. Considering the factual matrix, context of the case, the antecedents of the accused, the reason for absence from their usual place, and the submission that, despite best efforts, the warrants could not be executed, it is evident that even if the accused are brought to face trial, it would impinge upon their right to a speedy trial. Due to the passage of time, a meaningful trial is unlikely, and no useful purpose would be served.
4. Accordingly, the cases in STC Nos.750 of 2019, 3304 of 2024 and 3298 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.V, Puducherry Taluk, Puducherry, shall stand quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Cases stand disposed of.
06.10.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
