This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus 1/4

to direct the respondent herein to forthwith consider the representation dated 05.10.2023 and grant extension of license for a further period of three years from December 2023 to December 2026 for catering stall GMU 86 Catering Stall at Concourse of Chennai Moore Market Complex Railway Station (Sub urban Concourse Entrance of the platform No.12 adjust to the water vending machine)

2. The petitioner submitted a representation on 05.10.2023 with a request to grant extension of license for a further period of three years from December 2023 to December 2026 for catering stall GMU 86 Catering Stall at Concourse of Chennai Moore Market Complex Railway Station (Sub urban Concourse Entrance of the platform No.12 adjust to the water vending machine), which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2023 and pass 2/4

appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law after providing opportunity to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
