O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that out of the total amount of Rs.120070.41/- deducted from the terminal benefits of the 2nd respondent, an amount of Rs.74,244/- has already been paid to the 2nd respondent, and the 2nd respondent has also accepted the same and the petitioner is ready to pay the balance amount to the 2nd respondent. 2.

In the light of the above, adjudication of the matter on merits is not necessary, and the petitioner is directed to pay the balance amount to the 2nd respondent within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, if there is any dispute about the amount that is payable to the 2nd respondent in terms of the order dated 07.02.2017, the 2nd respondent is at liberty to work out his remedy.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. The connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
