This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvallur to dispose of the case in C.C.No.88 of 2023 within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the official respondent filed the status report stating that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, a case was registered in CCB, Chennai as against the private respondents. The accused were absconding and vacated their house. During the course of investigation, the case was transferred to Economic Offences Wing for further investigation. He further submitted that charge sheet has been filed before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvallur and the same was taken

on file in C.C.No.88 of 2023. He further submitted that they have taken steps for proclamation process as against accused A1 and A2.

4. In view of the same, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvallur is directed to expedite the trial proceedings and the first respondent is directed to complete the proclamation proceedings as early as possible.

5. With the abovesaid direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
