This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay the compensation award amount with respect of Land Acquisition proceedings initiated with respect to petitioner's property bearing survey No. 204/1A1 and 204/2A1A1 to the extent of 30 cents and 1.76 acres situated at Vadapatinam Village, Chengalpet Taluk (Previously Kancheepuram District) on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition has been complied with and the award amount for the abovesaid land has been deposited in the name of the petitioner.

4. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. 23.02.2024 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No
