J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Challenge this Appeal is to the order of the Family Court, Perambalur, granting interim maintenance at Rs.6,000/- per month to the wife.

2. The Family Court had taken into account the fact that the husband was working in Singapore. Though it is pleaded by the husband that he has lost his job and come back to India, we do not think that the quantum of maintenance granted is so high to warrant interference at our hands. Rs.6,000/- per month as maintenance is a very nominal sum in today's cost of living.

3. Hence, we do not see any reason to entertain the Appeal, the Appeal fails and it is accordingly dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
