O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider her representations dated 22.04.2019, 07.10.2024 seeking issuance of patta in respect of property with an extent of 0.34 cents, situated in survey no.1042/1A2, in Vallur (C) Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she purchased three items of properties under registered sale deed dated 24.11.1993. After purchase patta was issued in the name of the petitioner in respect of two items. However, with regard to third item in survey No.1042/1A2 patta was not issued to the petitioner Therefore, the petitioner submitted various representations before the respondent seeking issuance of patta. The last of the representation was submitted before the respondent on 07.10.2024 and the same has not been 2/4

considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
