Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 06.09.2024 made for grant of Permission/ Certificate of Vending and till such time not to interfere with the running of the petitioner's bunk shop at Moore Market Complex, Near Shop No.15, Opposite to Siva Book Stall, Chennai - 600 003, wherein selling tea, coffee and food items therein.

J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Mr.S.Gopinath, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, Corporation would submit that the 2nd respondent which is a Vending Committee will have to consider the application. He also adds that a enumeration process is on.

In view of the statement made, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner and pass orders thereon within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
