ORDER

The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of FCOP.No.424 of 2023 pending on the file of the Family Court, Tiruppur to the file of the Family Court, Dharmapuri.

2. Despite service being effected on the respondent by way of paper publication in Dina Thandhi Tamily Daily, Tiruppur edition dated 18.07.2025, there is no representation on behalf of the respondent today. Hence, the respondent is called and set exparte.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has taken me through the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this transfer petition justifying her transfer request and the first and foremost contention of the learned counsel is that, the petitioner being a resident of Kariamangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri, it would be very much inconvenient for her to travel a long distance to attend the FCOP proceedings before the Family Court, Tiruppur. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this transfer petition. Page No.2 of 4

I am satisfied with the reasons stated by the petitioner for transfer of the FCOP proceedings pending on the file of the Family Court, Tiruppur and accordingly, this Transfer Civil miscellaneous petition stands allowed and the case in FCOP.No.424 of 2023 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Tiruppur and the same is transferred to the file of the Family Court, Dharmapuri.
