incorporate the name of the petitioner as owner in all Revenue Records, including patta, in respect of land bearing plot No.9, measuring 2400sq.ft., comprised in Survey No.92/2A1G6 (now S.No.92/115), situated in No.145, Neelangarai Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District in light of the order in W.P.No.14106 of 2002 dated 07.08.2009 and S.L.P. (Civil) CC 19295 of 2013 dated 11.11.2013.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue patta in her name in respect of the land bearing plot No.9, measuring 2400sq.ft., comprised in Survey No.92/2A1G6 (now S.No.92/115), situated in No.145, Neelangarai Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.14106 of 2002 dated 07.08.2009 and the order passed by the Apex Court in S.L.P. (Civil) CC 19295 of 2013 dated 11.11.2013.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

It is the case of the petitioner that the Urban Land Tax proceedings were initiated for the above mentioned land and challenging the said proceedings the petitioner and other land owners filed W.P.No.14106 of 2002 and the same was allowed by the Division Bench of this Court on 07.08.2009. Aggrieved by the same, the respondents preferred the Special Leave Petition before the Apex Court in SLP.(Civil)CC 19295 of 2013 and the same was dismissed. Therefore, the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court is confirmed. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 18.04.2024 before the respondents 1 to 3 seeking issuance of patta, in the light of the order passed by this Court and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the 3/6

petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.04.2024 in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.14106 of 2002 dated 07.08.2009 and the order passed by the Apex Court in S.L.P. (Civil) CC 19295 of 2013 dated 11.11.2013, and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
