Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for contempt of Court for the wilful disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P.No.7714 of 2024 dated 21.03.2024.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 21.03.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.7714 of 2024, thereby directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 26.11.2021, in the light of the order passed in W.P.No.21349 of 2023 etc., batch dated 03.08.2023 as the benefits have been extended to similarly placed persons, within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that, as directed by this Court, the respondents considered the representation of the petitioners and passed order in

G.O.(2D)No.26 Environment, Climate Change and Forest (FR.2(ii)) Department dated 17.02.2025. He also produced a copy of the government order dated 17.02.2025 passed before this Court. 3.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
