Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to include the petitioner's qualification in Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) as an alternative for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for recruitment to fill up the post of teachers in the years to come, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 12.07.2017 and 19.08.2017. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner's request to consider his representations to include his qualification in Central Teachers Eligibility Test as an alternative for the Teacher Eligibility Test is a policy decision to be taken by the Government and this Court may not be justified in stepping into the shoes of the Government and take such a decision.

3. Hence, the prayer sought for in the present writ petition does not deserve consideration. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
