ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.The case was registered in Cr.No.85 of 2012 dated 12.02.2012 for the alleged offence under Section 294, 324, 506(i) r/w. 34 of I.P.C. The case is C.C.191/2025 was split up case of C.C.No.210 of 2015. The de facto complainant has been hospitalized. It is reported that the A2 already died and charge abated. NBW is pending as against the other accused persons in both the cases. 3.Considering the factual matrix, context of the case, the background of the accused, the reason for absence from their usual place, and the submission that, despite best efforts, the warrant could not be executed against A1, it is evident that even if the accused No.1 and 3 are brought to face trial, it would impinge upon their right to a speedy trial. Due to the passage of time, a meaningful trial is unlikely, and no useful purpose would be served.
